Lluïsos d'Horta

With a history going back over 130 years, the Lluïsos d’Horta sociocultural and sporting association has remained loyal to its spirit of service to its neighbourhood and the community it is a part of. Its work is aimed at fostering a citizenry committed to social collaboration; a diverse citizenry with no distinction made with regard to ethnic background, beliefs, customs or social class; a citizenry with a democratic outlook.

We are mindful that whole education begins in childhood. We believe in family values, in schools, institutes and universities: the better our young people are prepared, the more effectively values and knowledge are passed on to them. We also believe that the mission of the Lluïsos d’Horta is to promote the education of children and teenagers in a very important period in their lives, their free time, by providing artistic, recreational and cultural programmes with a special emphasis on the continuing practice of physical and sporting activities.
