Antiga Editorial Gustau Gili

In the heart of one of the islands of Barcelona's Eixample, the GustauGili Publishing House building, winner of the FAD Award for architecture in the year, has been hidden since the end of the 1950s 1961.
The architects of the R group: Francesc Bassó and Joaquim Gili i Moros, worked together in the search for contemporary architecture, reaching to erect the building in question, in the hands of the Gili family until 2015.
This hidden metropolitan jewel, since 2021 owned by the city council, which aims to turn the building into a centre of culture and education, is presented as a reference point of rationalist architecture in Barcelona, dominated by pure lines, polygonal bodies and absence of ostentatious decoration.
