MI-RU is a work of tremendous physicality based on the concept of homeostasis as a capacity for interaction between two or more systems. It observes the way that a particular body or social structure can co-exist and seek balances with other structures, or the way the inner environment of the human body can remain stable despite changes that occur in external conditions or due to sudden movements.

The show, a solo by Kotomi Nishiwaki, contains various visual perceptions and features music performed live by Miquel Casaponsa, a composition that enhances this idea of the regulation and communication between systems.

Park Keito is the Barcelona-based association in which Nishiwaki and Casaponsa work together, producing creations that encompass disciplines such as performance, sound and visual art in collaboration with other artists. By combining the human body, objects, light and space, they contrast and compare fictions, artificial landscapes, organic sonorities and the kinetic space.
