Slow Sports Kids
Slow Sports Kids explores the way athletes experience movement: their bodies, their beauty, their rhythmical movements, their facial expressions and the sounds made by their actions. It also reflects on how sports events are organised and how they are presented in the media.
Albert Quesada, a dancer and choreographer who divides his time between Barcelona and Brussels, trained with MDT (Amsterdam) and P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels) after completing his studies in philosophy and multimedia engineering in Barcelona. The exploration and translation of musical structures and compositions into choreography and the invitation to the spectator to perceive and listen to the pieces performed lie at the heart of his choreographic work. Since 2005, Quesada has created numerous pieces, some of which have been staged at the Mercat de les Flors.
Recommended for children from the age of eight.
