EGO

A piece of contemporary dance that seeks to raise the public's awareness by talking about the problems of the individual in society and the need we have to stand out, to feel important and protagonists. It is a criticism of the selfishness of today's society. From the outset, you see an individual being who only sees their own self and is capable of overlooking others. Gradually, however, they will evolve into someone who will open their eyes and work in a collaborative and cooperative way.
A group of young contemporary dancers who had worked together on different occasions decided to consolidate their professional relationship and form HUMANCÍA under the choreographic management of Irina Pineda. The company's works aim to encourage reflection, always dealing with themes of social criticism and understanding art as a socializing element.
