Cia. Roberto G. Alonso

A family show inspired by the world of the fascinating painter of the Generation of ’27 Maruja Mallo, in which her experiences and her paintings full of surrealist symbolisms and disproportions burst into movement.

Roberto G. Alonso proposes for us a poetic and light-hearted journey of initiation, to show us the world of the fascinating painter of the Generation of ’27 Maruja Mallo. Her varied work, full of surrealistic symbolisms and disproportions, is the ideal vehicle for connecting with little children’s imaginations. What better, then, than to transform it into movement to create a surprising and visual show that will awaken the creativity of the youngest ones.

With a career spanning 26 years, the Cia. Roberto G. Alonso stands out for its peculiar choreographic language, characterized by the fusion of dance and dramaturgy and by a peculiar, imaginative and meticulous idea of performance. The diversification of its creative work has led it to create shows for both adults and for young children and families.
