A dance-theatre show for the whole family that speaks to us about our essence and power to change the colour of the world.
The main character in this show, Nina, is a bright, curious girl, irreverent in her own way. The work describes Nina’s journey towards the loss of her essence. She gradually turns into a porcelain doll during the show, as a metaphor of the “perfect” girl, as she encounters different characters, who represent society as a whole. First her mother, then school, and finally a handsome prince. A metaphor of how we must never lose our inner music.
Fil d'Arena is a dance-theatre company formed in 2011, made up of four women who work to create collectively, something that defines their work. Each of them puts their best artistic, personal and professional skills into the creative processes in order to carry out transformative multidisciplinary projects.
