Quadres d’una exposició is a famous suite of fifteen pieces composed by Mússorgski to pay homage to Viktor Hartmann, architect, cartoonist and amateur painter, and intimate friend of the composer. The score is inspired by the posthumous exhibition of the works of Hartmann at the Imperial Academy of Arts of Saint Petersburg.

Playing with new technologies and with contemporary aesthetics, the show created by Roser Muñoz and Joan Boix takes the form of a guided tour of a museum with glasses of virtual reality. The use of video projections, with real images and animations, or the appearance of characters that come out of the screen to actually dance on stage, add magic and emotion to a creation that makes the youngest enter the fascinating world of ballet.

The Centre de Dansa de Catalunya is already a benchmark in the teaching of classical dance in our country. Roser Muñoz and Joan Boix have been considered first dancers in international companies for two decades. In their classes, they manage to transmit the respect and the love for dance as well as the rigor in the preparation of the spectacles, accurate to the smallest detail.
