Toni Jodar explains modern and contemporary dance

The dancer Toni Jodar offers a unique way of explaining the history of dance. Using his own body, his experience and his sense of humour, he creates an educational performance that illustrates the evolution of dance genres in a creative, enjoyable way. Thanks to his movements and his pertinent, clarifying comments, the dancer breaks down the evolution from classical to contemporary dance, referring to the ways the body has found to express itself in movement.

Explica Dansa is a project aimed at creating and educating audiences, co-directed by Beatriu Daniel and Toni Jodar. It offers key reading tools to make the knowledge of contemporary languages more accessible, as well as inviting reflection and discussion about dance.
