The Antic Teatre – Espai de Creació, known as the Antic Teatre, is an independent cultural and social centre housed in a building constructed in 1650 (listed since 1979 in the Catalogue of Architectural and Historical and Artistic Heritage of the City of Barcelona). Situated between the Santa Caterina Market and the Palau de la Música concert hall in the heart of Barcelona, it is an iconic space in the neighbourhood and has a beautiful garden.

With its long cultural and social history, the Antic Teatre is one of the flagships on the independent live arts scene.
