A new creation, incredibly visual and physical, that reveals that dark beast hiding inside each and every one of us.
The new creation by Thomas Noone’s company stands out for its plasticity and physicality, inspired by the observation of the limits that society imposes in the use of space. A series of trios, each with a different visual and emotional texture, unfold in a space dominated by a triangular sculpture of light. Beneath speaks of the norms and interpretations that govern our actions, to what lies behind each gesture, to the dark beast that lives inside each and every one of us.
Barcelona-based company Thomas Noone Dance creates highly physical vigorous dance shows, using both subtle gestures and explosions of movement. Contemporary creation is their goal and defines their works. Dancer and director of the company Thomas Noone is a regular in the city’s great theatres, and has been a guest choreographer at domestic and international companies. In 2011, he was awarded the City of Barcelona award in the dance category.
