This piece is the result of an investigation into the pleasure of dancing. It is a sensory journey through five performers who long for disinhibition, music and rhythm. A combination of hormones and feelings that imitate dance, at the same time as they mock it. Dance as subversion, the rebellion of bodies that are trained, corseted, drowsy, tired out, exhausted by everyday life, by responsibility, by adult life and normality.
UNAIUNA was born of the artistic concerns of Laura Lliteras and Marina Fullana. After studying classical dance in Mallorca, contemporary dance and choreography at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and being members of the Jove companyia IT Dansa, they decided to create their own artistic project, producing a discourse that, out of profound respect for their academic training, they combine with the humour of unlearning, with a fresh ironic touch of reality.
