How do we behave in the post-internet era? Two dancers tell us in an experience that combines dance and audio-visual technologies.

How do we behave in the post-internet era? Guillem Jiménez and Vera Palomino tell us in an experience that combines dance and audio-visual technologies. Through a sort of choreographic found footage, they fill the show with audio-visual material that plays as much of a part as the pair of artists who created the show. It’s the way they have of inviting us to reflect on the world we live in and on the false feeling of freedom that the social networks we use every day give us.

THE LESSON won the ACT 2021 AWARD for the Best International Dance Short work and the Jury’s Prize for the Best Piece at the 2021 10 Sentidos Festival.

The dance project laSADCUM, founded in 2018 in Barcelona by Guillem Jiménez, deals with generational topics and problems, by and for Generation Z. This is the second piece they have produced, after The Uncanny Valley (2018).
