Halfway between lecture performance and dance, Núria Guiu elaborates a speech about the social value of a ‘like’ in nowadays digital societies. With a clever view, sense of humor and a trained body, Guiu sets out two widespread trends in social networks: the cover dance and the yoga videos. Through these practices, she moves from pop to sacred and, through movement, she creates an image of the body in the digital era. Likes was a piece selected by the 2018 European platform Aerowaves and has attracted the interest of different national and international festivals.

Dancer and choreographer trained in the Institut del Teatre, Núria Guiu currently studies Anthropology and Human Evolution at the UOC (Catalonia Open University), another of her strong interests, which interrelate with body and dance. Guiu has danced in companies such as La Veronal, Cullberg Ballet or Jasmin Vardimon Company and she has created La Muda (2012) and Portal (2014). She has also taken part in the Tryangle and Monsoon artistic exchange platforms, the latter, established between Europe and Asia.
