The world of superheroes is the inspiration for Sol Picó’s new creation, which reflects on migration seen through the eyes of a child. The show unfurls live, in an interaction between the professional dancers and the audience. Those who pass the audition get to experience what it’s like to be a star for a day, in an ‘express’ creation process that comes with the opportunity to see first-hand how a show is made. With live music, this show reveals the obstacles and difficulties that our hero or heroine, a migrant child, has to overcome over the course of their journey, as well as the allies and friends that they’ll find along the way.

Sol Picó is a dancer and choreographer trained in Spanish, classical and contemporary dance, who brings together different techniques and languages in her productions in a groundbreaking way. In 1993 she created the Sol Picó Company, which has cemented her place as one of the most heterodox choreographers and dancers on the Spanish contemporary scene. She has received numerous awards, including more than ten Max awards, the Premi Nacional de Dansa de Catalunya (2004), the Ciutat de Barcelona de Dansa prize (2015), the National Dance Award (2016) and the Creu de Sant Jordi (2020).
