Workshop "YO ES UN CUERPO”

420 minutes

Based on physical language, improvisation and writing, the workshop deals with the idea of a division between a subjective “I” and objective “I”, for observing everything that is put into play. The aim is to explore the limits established between reality and fiction, between consciousness and unconsciousness , using a personal poetic form that combines the role of author, narrator and performer.

Marina Otero (Buenos Aires, 1984) is a director, performer, creator and teacher. Fuck me is the third part —after the productions Andrea and Recordar 30 años para vivir 65 minutos— of the project RECORDAR PARA VIVIR [Remember to Live], which aims to construct an open-ended production on her life until the day of her death. She recently launched her latest piece: Love me. Her shows have been presented in Singapore, Switzerland, Sarajevo, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, and she has won several awards, including the 2021 ZKB - Züricher Theater Spektakel Audience Award, Best Dance Direction in the 2016 Youth Art Biennale in Buenos Aires and the Estrella de Mar Award in Mar del Plata. She has also coordinated creation seminars and workshops in Argentina, France, Peru and Spain.
