The Dansa Metropolitana festival successfully closed this year’s edition and is now eyeing the future. The submission period for artistic projects to form part of the 2027 program officially opens on 23 March 2026.
The call is aimed at emerging or established dance artists and companies wishing to present shows in any style or format. The goal is to promote contemporary creation and offer a good-quality and varied program in the different spaces in the metropolitan area.
Projects must be technically and financially feasible, be available during the festival dates and meet the relevant legal requirements. The artistic committee will be responsible for assessing the projects according to the criteria of quality, coherence and suitability in line with the festival.
The deadline for submitting candidacies is 23 April 2026. Projects must be submitted using the following form.
The chosen companies will receive remuneration in line with the festival budget and must fulfil the established commitments for production, performance and promotion.
With this new call, Dansa Metropolitana reaffirms its commitment to supporting the sector and promoting dance as a living and constantly evolving artistic discipline.
