Presentation

Dansa Metropolitana presents its fifth edition, furthering it commitment to bring dance to the entire metropolitan area.

From 10 to 27 March, the festival will be bringing a wealth of dance to the theatres, civic centres, streets and public spaces of the twelve metropolitan cities included in this year's programme: Barcelona, Badalona, l’Hospitalet, Cornellà, El Prat, Viladecans, Esplugues, Santa Coloma, Sabadell, Terrassa, Granollers and Sant Cugat.

Over the course of a fortnight, you'll be able to discover new projects, venues, shows and other activities, all aimed at showcasing the creative ecosystem flowing through this metropolitan network of cities.

There are over 250 dance projects, offering a variety of shows for all audiences, as well as activities, talks, workshops and even a wide range of films about dance.

The Dansa Metropolitana Festival aims to bring dance to the general public and make it more accessible, so that everyone can enjoy it. It therefore includes all dance styles in its programme, from contemporary to classical, urban and flamenco, in order to facilitate dialogue between disciplines and enrich the cultural heritage of the cities involved.
