Àgores Barcelona
Àgores is the project this year that is bringing life to the streets of the cities participating in Dansa Metropolitana. It's a space where the metropolitan area is filled with dance, shared steps and the desire to come together.
On Sunday 8 March, in Plaça de la Universitat, audiences will be able to enjoy SORONATES by Mar Garcia and Javi Soler with La Cora, a La Caldera project that explores the voice as an inseparable part of bodily action, drawing on choral works by prominent women composers.
To close the programme, students from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona will present Double Folk, a piece that explores the two souls of folk dance: collective celebration passed down from generation to generation, and the underground power of gesture as an act of resistance.
