Àgores Sabadell

This year, Àgores is the project that is bringing life to the streets of the cities participating in Dansa Metropolitana. It's a space where the metropolitan area is filled with music, shared steps and the desire to come together.

In Sabadell, 10 local schools and associations (Escola de dansa Bots, Harmony Escola de Dansa, Associació Dansa Contemporània, Swingcopats, KMY Studio, Taller Marta Ruiz, El Gimnàs, DRISS Dansa, Ritme Dansa and Monica Escribà) will present brief original pieces to share with audiences, turning the city’s streets into a collective celebration.

On a day hosted by Laura Alcalà Freudenthal as master of ceremonies, between the performances by the dance schools, audiences will also be able to enjoy the performance Ollos cara adentro by the company iXa, in which two artists translate the surrealist conception of dreams into an ephemeral physical space where movement is the predominant language.

The day will culminate with an open workshop by Swingcopats and a popular dance session with live music from the One Step Beyond band for a shared festival finale!
