Bloody Moon
A celebration of life at its most colourful; a wild, lively, and energetic dance performance, brimming with humour and sensuality. Bloody Moon is inspired by French thinker Georges Bataille’s famous work on desire, eroticism, liberation, and madness, and marks the world premiere of Marina Mascarell as the new artistic director of Danish Dance Theatre.
Marina Mascarell is an internationally acclaimed choreographer recognised for her interdisciplinary work. She has received commissions from prestigious institutions such as Nederlands Dans Theater 1 and 2, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Lyon Opera Ballet, Skånes Dansteater, Dance Forum Taipei, and the Sydney Dance Company for the 50th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House, among others.
