Fantasie minor (création 2022)
Pati de les dones del CCCB

Fantasie minor emerged from Marco da Silva Ferreira’s meeting with Chloé Robidoux and Anka Postic, young performers trained in urban dance (hip-hop, dancehall, house dance). The piece is a response to the proposal to create a choreography that could be performed both indoors and outdoors, in a theatre or in a garden or a square. The small setting favours a constant proximity between the male dancer and the female dancer. This same idea, two people sharing a space, can be found in Fantaisie en fa mineur, op. 103 by Franz Schubert, a composition that is at the origin of the sound creation of Rui Lima and Sérgio Martins and that the male dancer and female dancer perform on all fours. The choreography, which takes place in a limited space, is in fact a kind of rite of passage, an idea already suggested by the composition itself, based on a Fantaisie en fa mineur, which was the last piece composed by Schubert before he died at the age of 31, and which therefore constitutes the premonition of another kind of rite of passage.

D-Construction
Plaça dels Àngels

Six dancers experience the liberation of the mind through movement. In the middle of a courtyard, metal scaffolding encloses them, protects them and frees them at the same time. By merging into a single group, they create a stronger entity; by breaking apart, they assert their uniqueness... D-Construction connects, inspires and destroys to create something new. With a powerful, energetic rhythm and an oriental touch, this creation by Souhail Marchiche and Mehdi Meghari, the founding couple of the Dyptik Company, explores themes such as identity and, especially, revolt. Dyptik also develops community projects and, since 2014, the Hip-Hop dance festival TRAX.
