A Medio Camino by Agnés Sales & Héctor Plaza, three performers take the stage, each gesture carrying memory and a voice that unites, moves through and sustains them. It is a convergence of flamenco and contemporary urban dance, forging a dialogue between traditional flamenco and krumping and breakdancing.

A woman and a marionette inhabit the urban space, reconstructing the symbolic gestures of other women who have inhabited it before them. Bound together by threads, they begin a dance that creates and unravels a story. The piece reflects on memory and its bonds: hidden recollections, knots that harbour stories and, when loosened, let fall the thread that connects them.

THE explores the tension between the individual and the collective. Two bodies with their own identities coexist as if they were one, sharing physical and mechanical needs. PIES DE GALLINA explores the bond between two women, and inspired by the expressions ‘tener la piel de gallina’ (get goosebumps) and ‘andar con pies de plomo’ (to tread carefully), it investigates the tension between the sensory and the rational. A relationship of support and vulnerability takes shape through movement, where being one makes it possible to be two.

The connection between traditional gestures and a spirit of protest becomes a space for experimentation, guided by Sergi Estebanell and Arantza Labuena, with Marina Tomàs on musical creation. But the cost of this constant consumption is high: like moths drawn to the light, getting too close risks being burned or falling into sudden exhaustion, a burnout that threatens to consume everything.

Covered in white flowers, the performer appears to be part of the landscape, yet beneath this stillness beats a pulse: the flower awakens, grows and occupies the space. The piece questions the archetype of the ‘vase woman’, turning delicacy into strength.
