Due to the weather forecast, the event has been relocated and will no longer take place at Av. de la Primavera / Mercat de la Florida. The new venue will be Can Trinxet.

How does a revolt begin? From a burgeoning opposition that turns into anger, from the individual to the collective. Mil Primaveres, Delfí Colomé Award 2024, is a folk-rooted dance piece created for the street and staged with a contemporary approach. It features eight performers from Esbart Manresà and two live musicians. The connection between traditional gestures and the spirit of protest becomes a space for experimentation, guided by Sergi Estebanell and Arantza Labuena, with Marina Tomàs creating the music.

Founded in 1909, Esbart Manresà is the second-oldest active folk dance group in Catalonia. It has preserved and reinterpreted folk dances with a contemporary perspective and has received honours such as the Government of Catalonia’s Creu de Sant Jordi [Saint George's Cross]. Since 2020, the group has focused on creations that engage today’s audiences, such as Totes, Vincles, Ræpte and Mil Primaveres, in which they explore folk dance as a living community language.
