What does it mean to be human when what is human is too much? In this piece, the format is taken apart to open up an untamed space in which words dissolve into gesture and consensus fades into its own shadow. In this realm of transition and trembling, meaning is not imposed: it emerges among bodies through collision, friction and incompleteness. What's human is not a substance but a relation, an exercise in resistance that burns at the edges of speech.

Manuel Rodríguez is a dancer, choreographer and visual artist, and a graduate of the MA in New Performative Practices at the University of the Arts Stockholm. His work investigates contemporary conditions for the appearance of the body, understood as a space of tension where perception, matter and relation intersect. His creations question the limits of language and the mechanisms that organise the visible, opening up zones of indeterminacy from which other forms of presence can be imagined.
