Oveja Eléctrica

Oveja Eléctrica is a dance piece inspired by the universe of Blade Runner and Philip K Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Through movement, the work explores the boundary between the human and nonhuman and questions whether human essence is real or a symbolic construct that makes existence meaningful.

Cia. Pla Roig investigates the deepest layers of human beings and our relationship with time and society. Their quest starts from stage action as a driving force to reach the concept, embracing experimentation as the foundation of the creative process. Through dance, they construct images that champion imagination and use movement as a tool to connect poetics, technique and content.
