Piccolo circ de fil tells the story of a puppet who dreams of becoming a tightrope walker in order to walk all the way to the moon. Everyday objects come to life and turn into characters in a playful universe reminiscent of the childhood ability to transform the world around us into a realm of fantasy. Antonella D’Ascenzi presents a dance and visual theatre piece with puppets and video mapping for the whole family.

Antonella D’Ascenzi is an Italian dance and visual theatre creator based in Catalonia since 2010. She develops projects for both family and adult audiences that explore the dialogue between body, objects and imagery. She has taken part in initiatives, festivals and venues such as Park in Progress of Pépinières Européennes de Création, Matadero at Teatro Español in Madrid, the Xarxa de Teatres Alternatius, FiraTàrrega and the Mostra d’Igualada.
