“Takk” by GeBa
Takk is a contemporary dance piece that delves into power relations, identity and emotional vulnerability. Two bodies explore connection, oppression and the desire to be heard through an intense, symbolic physical language. A tree becomes both boundary and witness, a metaphor for what weighs upon us unspoken, creating a reflection on what sustains us and what constrains us.
GeBa, a company founded by Ekaitz Villar and Genís García, emerged from a creative encounter driven by the search for a distinctive physical language that is honest and emotionally grounded. Their work is rooted in a living, hybrid form of dance that explores the body as a space for thought, dialogue and resistance. With a commitment to giving voice to a restless generation, they create narratives that connect through intensity and vulnerability.

“PIES DE GALLINA” by Ana F. Melero & Luna Sánchez
PIES DE GALLINA explores the bond between two women, centrepiecing the balance between holding on and collapsing. Inspired by the expressions ‘tener la piel de gallina’ (get goosebumps) and ‘andar con pies de plomo’ (to tread carefully), it investigates the tension between the sensory and the rational. Through movement, a relationship of support and vulnerability takes shape, where being one makes it possible to be two, in a constant state of balance on the edge of collapse.
This is the first joint creation by Ana F. Melero and Luna Sánchez, Madrid-based Andalusian creators and performers. The work has toured national and international festivals, including Danza a Escena 2025, the Red Andaluza de Teatros Públicos (Andalusian Network of Public Theatres) and venues in the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. They received the PAD Award 2024 and the Lorca Award 2025 for Best Street Performance.
