Un poyo rojo
Two men and a live radio broadcast in a dressing room confront, provoke and seduce each other in a performance that blends dance, sport and sexuality. With humour, acrobatics and comic timing, Un Poyo Rojo pushes the boundaries of movement and explores the many interpretations of the body, offering a witty provocation that invites us to laugh at ourselves and embrace the complexity of being human.
The project began in 2008 in Buenos Aires and quickly turned into an international phenomenon. Since 2015, it has toured across Europe, the Americas, and Oceania, performing at prestigious festivals and theatres such as Rond Point in Paris and Edinburgh Fringe. With over 1,000 performances in more than thirty countries, the piece by Alfonso Barón and Luciano Rosso has become a globally recognised benchmark in contemporary performance.
