Unleashed
In Unleashed, theatre embraces dance and every movement flows through the body like a shared breath. It is a journey in which our inner monsters meet onstage to explore what it is that makes us human. Through this ritual of movement, what frightens us is transformed into urge, presence and the very essence that keeps us alive.
FREEBODIES was founded in Barcelona in 2018 as an intensive training programme for young talent to support their transition into the professional dance world. Under the direction of Nadine Gerspacher, the programme offers a creative and inspiring environment, as well as opportunities to collaborate with nationally and internationally renowned artists. With Unleashed, the participants have worked with original pieces by Jos Baker, Shawn Fitzgerald and Nadine Gerspacher herself.
