Opened in 1907, today the Teatre de Sarrià is the result of a refurbishment carried out between 2011 and 2015. The renovated theatre was opened with an opera gala in January of that year.

It holds activities by associations and schools and has its own programme structured in cycles of theatre and dance, music, opera and zarzuela, film documentaries and shows for the family.
