Fàbrica Can Bagaria / Escola Municipal de Música Roser Cabanas

"Can Bagaria" is a listed agricultural or industrial building. Built between 1920 and 1925. This building belongs to the modernist style, and its author was "Modest Feu Estrada". This work is part of "The Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia". At present, it has no use, but it is protected as a "cultural asset of local interest". This architectural work was an old wool and cotton factory, founded by Buenaventura Bagaria Vidal.

During these last decades, the conditions of this factory have been decreasing, suffering a fire and a partial collapse of the roof. Currently, one of the ships is used by the urban guard.

The factory is made of exposed brick, this is organized on both sides of a service area, divided into two buildings that are subdivided into three bodies, and has a gable roof. A tower stands out over the central body, formerly used as a dwelling. This building, in general, we can think of as having a lack of windows, but this is due to the lighting system through skylights.

A building that at first glance has little to hide, but has a very interesting route and history.
