In Badalona, Saturday 19, the show is moved inside CC L'Escorxador. We will report all changes to the festival's social networks.

In Sant Cugat, Sunday 20, in case of rain, this show will be moved to the hall of the Teatre-Auditori de Sant Cugat. We will report all changes to the festival's social networks.

Four artists arrive in good company to conquer El Rumbòdrom. A dynamic participative show, full of rumba and fun, in which dancers and audience mix and mingle.

El Rumbòdrom comes to the square and the public sits around the edge expectantly. Three dancers are the “palmeres” at a party, the backing singers of a famous singer, or could they be great artists who want to conquer the world to the rhythm of the rumba? The stage is their habitat and so is the square. Or maybe the square is a large stage and we are all artists? A dynamic and participative show in which dancers and audience mix and mingle. This show will be performed in collaboration with a group from each municipality.

Jose Manuel Álvarez is the director of the company that bears his name and of the professional training school ¡La Capitana! Espacio Flamenco. Working in dance companies as a choreographer and performer for more than 15 years, in the last 5 years he has also directed his own creative projects. The interest in rumba came to him through the family ever since he can remember people danced in his home; and he is also interested in flamenco, fusing it with other languages of the body.
