Performance: L'home alliberat

This multidisciplinary collective performance is part of the pictorial piece ‘L'home alliberat’ by Ivonne Navarro that can be seen at the Museu Palau Mercader. With dance, music and video art, the piece is transformed into a painting in motion to speak to us of the burden of gender that we carry from childhood, of prisons and a journey, and the struggle to rid ourselves of this burden.

Ivonne Navarro is an illustrator and plastic artist who has created the pictorial piece “L’Home Alliberat”. Her art is noted for its social and protestant nature. Sisu Coromina is a multidisciplinary artist. A musician, composer and experimental dancer, he dances the solo of the performance. Eduardo Laborda is an audio-visual artist, entrusted with giving Ivonne Navarro’s work another dimension.
