"Aquí i ara!!" BdanceBarcelona with Clara Pons

The choreographer Clara Pons (Brodas Bros) presents us with a small choreographic action, specially designed for this space, performed by students from the BdanceBarcelona school in Santa Coloma.

An urban dance piece that wants to convey how important it is to enjoy dancing according to the space and the moment. Leaving space for each one, but being part of a coordinated whole.

Solo dance, visual theatre and street humour, with the life of a quivering tree and a dancing vagabond as the core of the show. A piece born from the need to share the space-time that surrounds silence, to share an essence of poetry, a rhythm, a look at the imperceptible. An instant to see things that are immobile dancing, and to feel infinitely alive. An invitation to breathe together in the deep, slow rhythm of life.

Claire Ducreux, a graduate in contemporary dance from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse et de Musique de Lyon, performed with a number of dance companies in France from 1992 to 1999. She has created and performed several dance solos in street theatre festivals that have travelled halfway around the world.

"CHECKING INTO PARADISE", FREE BODIES

Choreographer and dancer Nadine Gerspacher creates a poetic and dreamlike universe where 14 people enact the process of transformation after death. A show full of images and a sense of togetherness that invites the audience to embark on a mysterious journey. What lies on the other side? What awaits us in paradise? Is it really better than what we have here on Earth? A work that invites us to see the heaven that is right here under our feet.

FREE BODIES was born in 2018 with the desire to create a bridge between the end of vocational training and the working world of dance in Barcelona. Nadine Gerspacher and Nico Ricchini join forces to offer 15 dancers the opportunity to work with international and local choreographers. With this year's fifth edition, FREE BODIES has managed to position itself among the most outstanding young companies in Europe.
