It wishes to be a forum for communication and reflection on art. It wants to break down the barrier of form and concretion. It explores limits, but it also moves along erratic paths running the risk of getting lost, but ¡ expecting to go beyond prejudgement or the pre-established piece. It wishes to recover a place at once calm and uncomfortable. It wants to feel time as being urgent, as a mark that will arrive and which perhaps will not have satisfied the expected narrative: it interrupts and cuts feelings that, at the same time, are experienced more intensely thanks to their ephemeral nature.

La Tacones is an important centre of Avant-garde flamenco that does not renounce tradition or research and transformation through creation and investigation. It works on this other half of dance in which form takes a back seat and presence, being and the way of living in one’s body become an indispensable basis for experiencing dance. The interest in knowing where you are dancing from, not how you dance as the project’s set of ideas.
