If dancing traditional dances is in decline, if dancing in nightclubs wasn't an option during the pandemic, and if dancing in theatres is a privilege that not everyone has access to, then where do we dance today? Cyberexorcisme presents TikTok dances as a kind of new digital folklore or ritual and asks: what are the differences between sharing dance in physical spaces and in virtual ones? How do we build and understand bonds of affection and community at a distance?
Núria Guiu is a choreographer and performer. She graduated from Institut del Teatre and is a dancer with various national and international companies; since 2012, she has been interested in the relationship between body-image-power and the digital world, which has led to the creation of the shows Likes, Spiritual Boyfriends, Futuralgia and Medium. In 2022, she received the National Culture Award for her artistic language and her research into the body and the digital environment from a socio-anthropological perspective.

Free admission, booking required.
