The dancer and “dance explainer” Toni Jodar tells the recent story of dance, its maestros and the most recent trends in a proposal halfway between a talk and danced action.
Between the talk and the danced action, Toni Jodar talks to us about the recent history, maestros and the most recent trends in dance. The explanation is about the great figures in dance and the movements that have shaken bodies along with the events that have changed our world. A paradigm shift in which a multitude of trends contribute to the fusion and the experimentation of new forms, and to the rereading of traditions.
This Danced Talk sets out to answer the audience’s question: After Pina, what comes next? As the continuation of the original piece, Toni Jodar explains Modern and Contemporary Dance
Explica Dansa is a project for creation and training co-directed by Beatriu Daniel and Toni Jodar. It offers key interpretative tools for making knowledge of contemporary languages more accessible, and inviting people to reflect on and discuss dance.
