Oscyl

Autonomous puppets that respond to humans: this combination of contemporary dance and performing arts gives shape to a work created for exploring the relationship with the other, with otherness. The sculptures are the size of people and called oscils because of their capacity to oscillate with dancers.

The show will be performed in two formats and different places: on 20 March, at the OM at the Mercat de les Flors, while on 21 March Oscyl Variation, the show’s street version, will be presented opposite the Mercat de les Flors itself at a session open to the public.

The creations of the choreographers Héla Fattoumi and Éric Lamoureux have been receiving international recognition since 1990. They have both been directing the Centre Chorégraphique de Franche-Comté in Belfort since March 2015, where they created the VIADANSE project, whose goal is to promote projects and build networks, in addition to studying formulas for reinventing the relationship with the audience.
