La Farinera is full of reminders of its industrial past, the historical memory of a building and a neighbourhood. The building, built in 1908, was the site of Casa Harinera de San Jaime S.A, which made flour until 1991. Since 1999, La Farinera has been a place for cultural creation, a nexus and a point of departure between creative people and spectators. It is a factory for the creation and dissemination of the performing, musical and audio-visual arts.
